Okay so I haven't been posting lately cos I just haven't really felt like it :p
But anyway, my last week starts tomorrow, and while it will suck to leave for this time it will also be really nice to come home and see my family again and so on. I've been up to quite a few things since I last posted, some shopping, an exciting non-gig, shopping centres, yummy pizza, and so on.. I will post some pictures tomorrow and post a bit more in detail about what I've been up to (if I feel like it that is!)

I'm alive!
.. It's just that nothing much have actually happened the past week so I haven't really had anything to post about.
Went with the gf to uni today, her first day back, it was quite nice to sit there and read Game of Thrones when she was falling asleep during random lectures :D AND I FINALLY FOUND MY SCARF! It cost me $30 dollars though, sad..
That's everything for now, blaahhh :)

Back in Sydney! II
So, once again I'm back in Sydney after what has been an awesome weekend! We've visited the gf's sister, a fair bit up north (1 hour by plane, 10 hours by car (and it's still in the same bloody state!)) and it's been really great. The weather was awesome (sunny, 17-ish degrees, nice breeze, and so on, oh and, amazing beaches) compared to the weather in Sydney, I don't think I've ever been that drenched from rain before, it was just crazy! I've been doing some gift shopping for my family (and the gf, but nothing at all for me!), had some really great food (trout, among other things), and it's just been a really nice and relaxing weekend. Oh, and I bought the Game of Thrones book (as in, book one in the series) at the airport in Sydney. Pics will most likely be uploaded sometime tomorrow!
Byeeesss for now :)

Pancakes and Pest Control!
Been quite busy these last few days.. well, not really, but I just haven't had that much to blog about.
Anyway, I will start with yesterday: Pest control guy came to the house, and for people back at home, he goes through the house checking for parasites, mice and rats and spiders etc, and then spray the house inside and outside with toxin and stuff. And yeah, even under the house, which has brought out ALL THE DAMN COCKROACHES and they're dying all over the place :P Seen some quite big ones but I'm getting used to them now so it's not that bad anymore. And as long as there are no huntsman spiders in here I'm happy!
So, today, we went to THE pancake place, Pancakes On The Rocks. We had lunch there, I had Mexicana creppes, and then we had dessert, chocolate pancakes with heaps of chocolate and cream and stuff with it (pics below), and basically, to sum up the experience.. well, words can't describe how amazing it was, so, let's just leave it for the pics!

Wiiiiiiiiiii
Nothing much going on this Saturday, except a Parramatta game tonight!
Reason for the headline though, I played crazy good golf before and I ended up on -10 (!) on 18 holes and I was so happy! And I got my second ever hole-in-one :)
Had delicious waffles for breakfast, pics will be uploaded later on! Right now I'm gonna get something to eat and then do some washing!

Snowy Mountains 2011
I'll keep it quite short, and really, not that much actually happened anyway :P
We left Sydney on Monday morning last week, at about 10. Marley (gf's poodle) was horrible the first hour in the car as always, but then he settled quite nicely. The journey took about 6 hours in total I think, including a stop at Hungry Jack's (Burger King for you normal people :P), and yeah, we arrived safely. On the very next day, the Blizzard arrived. Winds up to 120km/h were reported in the mountains and we were without power for most of the day as many other people in the mountain areas of NSW.
The blackout resulted in a risotto cooked on-top of one of the fireplaces in the house, it took two hours to cook :P but it was really yummy :)
Other than the blackout it was a quite uneventful week, the gf's uncle and his son came for a one night visit and they brought some very tasty chinese food, and they were really friendly and funny people too!
We've been going for walks the days that the weather allowed us to (snowy/really windy most of the time) and while I didn't see as many wallabies/kangaroos this time, I had a better camera this time around so I got some quite good photos of the ones I saw! No echidna this time though, which was quite disappointing :(
We also went into Adaminaby once and got the same AMAZING pies and sausage rolls that we got last year, and I HAD MISSED THEM SO MUCH! Other than that we got some Strongbow Apple Cider which actually wasn't too bad, seems like they can do some things right in the UK!
When we haven't been doing things we have been watching TV, played Wii, played with Marley and his damn green ball (:P), brought in wood, put wood in the fireplace (ah yes, we had plenty of wood delivered on the stormy Tuesday, it was NOT fun to get all of that organised in the wind), played board games, eaten delicious food, and so on :) And of course, as usual, followed the Block and Masterchef. A new show started the other week, Can of Worms.
It's basically a political correctness show, where they talk about everyday stuff that's going on in Australia, it's really interesting and fun to watch, I wish they had something like it back at home!
Oh, and Parramatta won their first game since I came here last Friday, YAY FOR THEM :D
I think that's pretty much all I have to tell you for now, all in all I had a great week and it's so relaxing to be without internet and all the traffic and so on. It feels a bit like home, but more remote. I'll provide some of the pics that I've taken, but you can always find more on my Facebook.
